Melissa Williams was nominated by an anonymous parent of a student.
Ms. Williams has always been more than just a teacher. She has been a hero to her school, staff, and students. Her nominator attended class right next to her room as a young girl. Although Ms. Williams didn't have her nominator as a student, she still found ways to get to know her. She is always involved with her students; she knows all of them by name and truly cares about them. At the time, Ms. Williams was very involved with student council and homecoming activities and decorations. Fast forward years later, and she currently has her nominator's oldest daughter in her seventh grade social studies class.
"This sweet lady not only loves her job, but all the children, as well," said her nominator. "I saw her car at the school almost every day during the summer, as she worked on her classroom and lessons for this year. She has poured her heart into teaching and sculpting young minds. She left a positive effect on me and is doing so for our daughter. Ms. Williams is definitely a LifeChanger."
