Mrs. Wiles makes a difference in the lives of her students. She focuses on the unique learning qualities each student possesses and seeks a deeper understanding of the whole child. Her style of teaching blends with the ever changing needs of her students. She facilitates learning and mentors students with high expectations for all.

Mrs. Wiles' collegial and collaborative manner with all is reflected in her school's positive atmosphere. Each day, she can be seen assisting others in a wide array of topics. Her professionalism and kindness is the standard in which her colleagues conduct themselves. Always a leader, she is a certified teacher and administrator. She routinely volunteers to be "Principal of the Day" and accomplishes this with dignity and grace. Her high standards tempered with genuine caring lead to a pattern of excellence. Mrs. Wiles' entire demeanor incorporates an atmosphere of nurturing where success wins the day. Knowing her students well, she adjusts each learning goal with ease and provides a safe learning experience where dreams become reality.

I have known Susan for many years. First, when she had my daughter as a student in middle school 17 years ago and more recently working with her in the school system. Susan has always been a very dedicated teacher always putting her students first. She works tirelessly to better our school for all students. Susan always goes above and beyond for the students and the school. She is well deserving of this nomination.

Congrats to Susan!!!! This award is very well deserving. I had the pleasure of being a supervisor to Susan for many years and she was always top notch. Susan's can do attitude and her love of all children is apparent. Susan shows respect for all students, staff and parents. I have had the pleasure of serving on the PBIS committee at Spruce Mountain Primary School with Susan for the past 3 years. Susan has always impresses me with her energy and leadership skills. She has accomplished A LOT with her ability to envision and then to make things happen, all for the good of students and staff. Susan is skillful in accessing community resources, making valuable connections and promoting positive interactions.

AS A COMMUNITY MEMBER WHO VOLUNTEERS AT SMPS, IT HAS BEEN A JOY TO ASSIST SUSAN IN A MAJOR FUNDRAISER THAT BENEFITS STUDENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. BECAUSE OF HER EFFORTS OUR STUDENTS HAVE A LARGE WOODEN SHIP AND A CLUBHOUSE TO PLAY IN AS THEY ENJOY THEIR PLAYGROUND. THE FUNDRAISER HAS CERTAINLY HELPED TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE. Mrs. Wiles is an amazing person who always has the students first. Mrs. Wiles has a no limits mindset approach that allows students to excel, flourish and gain confidence to be a better student and person. Mrs. Wiles knows what makes each student tick and how to connect in a way that has students excited to go to school. We always joked that we wish Mrs. Wiles could teach every year until our children graduated highschool. I had the honor of working with Susan Wiles during my last year of teaching! She is like the Energizer Bunny with her enthusiasm in what she brings to the children! She works tirelessly on the fundraisers at school so that the PBIS program can continue. The playground at SMPS is amazing and a lot of the Thanks goes to Susan!
