Music that Describes Michelle

Michelle Nowell was nominated by her colleague, Holly-Ann Reeves.

Ms. Nowell has worked with the Kosciusko School District for over 32 years, serving as Kosciusko Lower Elementary School's principal for 22 years. She has made a huge impact with the school and community over the years.

"I am impressed with many things about her, but there's one thing that sticks out in my mind," said Reeves. "The last week in December, she took all 22 of our classes to give out fruit baskets over four days to adults that either retired from the Kosciusko School District or retired from the community for their service. She also was the school bus driver and does a fine job with that, as well. This is one reason why I think she's a LifeChanger. She is making a difference for our community and teaching our kids to give to others. By giving to others, we are being kind."

I am so glad to see Mrs Nowell nominated for this. She goes above and beyond for everyone she comes in contact with. Her school is her home, her teachers and every child that comes through her school are her babies. She is constantly involved in fun learning activities within her school and community and you will NEVER see her without a smile and hug coming to you. The children that attend KLE absolutely adore her, and as a parent I can honestly say we do too. She is one in a million and deserves all great things and acknowledgements. We love you Mrs Nowell and appreciate all you do!! ??

Lifechanger she has put more in to the students at KLE than people will ever know. The kids love her every much and one of her favorite saying is THAT KIDS KNOW WHO TRULY LOVE THEM. And they do.

I formally worked under Michelle Nowell. She was always enthusiastic with the children and so very supportive of her staff. She is very active with Relay for Life (cancer awareness/support) with fundraising every year. She enstills the importance of giving to every student and staff member at KLE. She truly is a life changer for students and her community and I so miss working with her!!! Good Luck Michele—- I’m rooting for you!!
