Rachel Horn was nominated by a colleague who wishes to remain anonymous.
Mrs. Horn is starting her second year as the assistant principal at Carlisle High School, and serves the same role at the elementary school. She is an innovative, out of the box thinker.
"Her skill set is far above anything that this school district has experienced. While these qualities are an asset to our building and district, perhaps her greatest strength is the care and love that she has for all of our students and teachers," said her nominator.
Mrs. Horn goes out of her way to help out anyone in need of her assistance. At the same time, she commands the respect and adoration of all stakeholders. She has big things ahead of her as she rises in her career. The nominator predicted that she will eventually become a head principal, either in Carlisle or at another educational institution.
"When she does assume a position at a building where she is making all decisions, there is no limit to the achievement that the school will experience," her nominator said.
