Pamela Jibb was nominated by an anonymous parent of a student.

Ms. Jibb is an extraordinary person and teacher. She has been teaching for over 29 years. In today's society, that's very rare to find. She cares deeply about every student she meets and willingly gets involved however she can be utilized best for the success of each student. Her passion for students' academic and personal success shows through her teaching, classroom management skills, and student outcomes. Any student who comes to Ms. Jibb for any reason leaves her room knowing they have an advocate on their side on campus at any time. They also know that if they mess up, Ms. Jibb will be right beside them helping them understand why they earned the consequences they did, and how it's a learning experience to grow from. Her positive views and outlook make Plantation High School lucky to have Ms. Jibb on their campus making a difference.

I can’t believe that there would be a more qualified recipient. Pam has taught all factions of students at Plantation High. She has also served as the science coach for the school to help raise scores on the science EOC tests. Her dedication to her students and to the school, is exemplary. As a former colleague and now as a district employee, I can verify that she meets the needs of each and everyone of her students.
