Rob Stramp was nominated by his wife, Andrea Stramp
Mrs. Stramp submitted a letter written by one of Mr. Stramp's graduating seniors:
"I constantly enjoy looking back on my time in your class and how your teaching impacted me. Thank you for being my second chance to remedy my lack of credit in World History and turning it into a positive experience. You treated me as someone intelligent enough to have a conversation with and engaged in actual discussion rather than using your position to prove you were always right. Your willingness to understand that I had other pressing matters in my life and was doing my best meant leagues, as it constantly lessened my anxiety and inspired me to do well and turn things in on time. Even now when I see you, I feel like you're as invested in my growth as an individual as you were when I was your student. I’ll continue to fondly remember how you made it easy to enjoy learning again. Thank you for making me feel heard as a student and individual and supporting me in my goal to graduate."
