Erika Hauck was nominated by her superintendent, Angela Krein, a friend, Nataley Ebbers, two students and four colleagues who wished to remain anonymous.
Mrs. Hauck is an educator who not only cares about the content her students are learning, but also takes a genuine interest in her students as individuals. She is generous with her time and brings a whole new energy to teaching social studies and math in the fifth and sixth grades.
“She is always looking for new and innovative ways to help with student success in her classroom as well as across the school. Our students, families and staff are very lucky to have her in our district,” said one of her colleagues.
“Mrs. Hauck changes my life in many ways in the morning when we get to school she always has an inspirational video on and it helps me do better in school. If my day isn't starting out so good, Mrs. Hauck always does something or finds a way to make it better,” one of her students shared.
“She is very nice and kind to people. If someone is down she picks them up.” Krein said.
