Ms. Bowen is an outstanding educator who is devoted to her students every day. She makes it a point to truly get to know her students and develop a deep understanding of who they are and what makes them tick on an individual basis. She tailors her teaching methods to each student based on what works for them. She is equal parts teacher, mentor, advocate, and occasionally, Drill Sergeant.
"She knows how to reach each student in the most productive and impactful way," the nominator said. "Ms. Bowen is absolutely deserving of the highest praise, and I am thrilled to be able to nominate her for this recognition."
