Betsy Kinnon was nominated by a colleague who wishes to remain anonymous.

Mrs. Kinnon is a LifeChanger for many reasons, but the reason that sticks out the most to the nominator is her infectious smile and kind spirit. Every morning, she greets each of her kindergarteners with a smile and a hug. She never seems to have a bad day, or at least does her best not to show it to her students. She is a positive role model for all students and staff, and never says a negative word about her peers.

"She does her best to learn about her students as individuals, and foster a relationship that goes beyond the classroom," the nominator said. "Each of her students know that she loves them and cares for them."

Mrs. Kinnon is a bright a shining star who radiates her warmth and positivity to all around her whether student, parent, or co-worker. She takes every opportunity to inspire her students and gives not only the attention they need, but in a way they need and receive it. Her bubbly and fun personality is contagious and refreshing. It's amazing to see her not only equipping students with educational tools, but confidence, love and joy as well!
