Hana Grayson was nominated by her principal, Doris Lee.
Ms. Grayson consistently goes above and beyond for students, advocating on their behalf. She started the VA cheerleading team, and worked non-stop to ensure they had uniforms. Ms. Grayson helps students develop a sense of pride in themselves and their school community. She also organized the first Oratorical contest. Students were excited about history, and became familiar with how these important speeches impacted our society. Even students who were shy, suddenly found their voice on stage.
Always looking to inspire students, Ms. Grayson hosted her first Spelling Bee, where she encourages all students to give it a try. Students understand that each day is a new day, and anyone could be a Spelling Bee champion with practice.
"During her lunch period, Ms. Grayson can be seen with students in her classroom, having lunch, talking and inspiring them to step out of their comfort zone and do something great," Lee said. "She sees the best in every child and is a champion for finding the talent and greatness for each student. She is a dedicated and proven LifeChanger."
