Donna Marcaccio was nominated by a family member, Trisha Marcaccio.

"Donna pushes herself to do better. In terms of her students doing better, she is always there with a helping hand. She donates her time earning perks from different companies so she can take her students on field trips. These trips allow students to expand their horizons and do things they aren't able to do. Outside of the classroom, Donna volunteers at a farm that helps veterans with disabilities. She also coaches a basketball team because she loves helping out and stepping in when the time is right. The team needed a teacher and, of course, there was Donna. She is the most compassionate person I know," said Trisha Marcaccio.
