LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Ileana Gonzalez was nominated by a student.

"My nominee helped me get through one of the most difficult times in my life by being attentive to personal and work issues I was facing, by helping me, by showing a great example to follow and cultivate into my work in the future, and by always being compassionate to me and any other student she had at my time at Clint Small Middle School," said the student. "My nominee also contributed heavily with leadership by leading by an example that all teachers should strive to follow, helping with events, assisting other teachers, and ensuring that her students got the help they needed from other sources. I couldn't think of a better nominee for the LifeChanger of the Year program. Ileana Gonzalez is a shining example of what teachers can and should be."
