Amy Lascari was nominated by her sister, Karen Lascari.

"My sister always goes above and beyond to be not only a teacher but a mentor to all her students," said Karen. "She is passionate about her work and will do everything in her power to ensure that students excel in Spanish. She will go to their games or any other extracurricular activities whenever possible. A moment that impacted me was the last day of the last school year. She called me crying after work. She said she was going to miss her students and how she had been able to give each class a heartfelt speech. I don't know anyone else who shares her same passion or drive, and it is very admirable!"
