Stephanie Rennie was nominated by a family member, Brittany Desell.

"She has always had a passion for helping children," said Desell. "As a mother of three amazing young women, she has always been their biggest fan and role model. In addition to her daughters, nieces, and nephews, her students were like additional children to her. She will always go above and beyond to make any student feel cared for and included. From Kindercare to public schools, she still had time to raise a family and obtain a Master's Degree. There is no limit to the time spent with a student to ensure they enjoy and understand their education."

"Stephanie is my aunt, but she is so much more than that. She is a guiding light to anyone who has had the pleasure to know her. I have looked up to her as a role model since I was young. She pushed me to pursue my dreams and never made me feel inadequate for any goal I set. This woman has endured many hardships throughout her life and never once let them dim her infectious smile. She is always looking at the positives in any situation," said Desell.
