Whether I was out sick, lonely, or overall just having a bad day, she's always cared and been supportive. I have never once struggled to tell her anything that's poorly affected my life, and she's always tried her best to help me find joy in problems."

Whenever I or another student struggled in her classes, she always worked to help us overcome and succeed before moving on, not only in dance, but in any other subjects where help is needed. To describe the light that is Anastasia Weiss is to describe those around her. Smiles, laughter, passion, inspiration, courage, creativity, openness, vulnerability, and outpouring of love — these are only a fraction of the joyous qualities that exude from the hearts, minds and bodies of those she touches. Like the sun itself, she infuses everyone with vitality and energy. to be in her presence is to be in a safe space, filled with love, trust, and shared respect. Those around her, whatever their age, feel alive in their fullest and best selves. It is if they can’t help but make positive, life-affirming choices for themselves and those around them. As they take in the light that Ms. Weiss, shares, they light up themselves, and keep shining. The sheer mention of her name brightens a face, which is the reflection of a heart glowing inside. The mere thought of Miss Weiss lifts the spirit. I say this with conviction, confidence, and absolute certainty, because I witness it every day. The simple mention of her pivots any conversation into a gushingly ebullient testimonial to Anastasia Weiss. Any and everyone will immediately exclaim not only, “I LOVE Ms. WEISS!” but will instantly add exactly why and how she’s changed their lives and continues to effect how they feel and what they do. She changed mine the moment we met. I instantly knew, as all who meet her do, that she is an “uplifter,” a soarer of souls. Like the updraft to a bird, she is there with intuition, masterful listening skills, angelic patience and brilliantly insightful communication to scoop a life upward — towards the light. She just “knows.”
But it’s because she cares— actively. She chooses to be the light. Day by day. Moment by moment.
It is her intention, her conscious mission, her passionate determination to lean into love that defines her boundless spirit.
It’s not only her beaming smile, her musical voice, her compassionate actions that makes her so astoundingly special. It’s the effort she puts in to be the person that shows up that way.

But to Anastasia Weiss, it’s simple. And what’s simple can create singular focus. And that is what she does day in and day out.
She intentionally focuses on changing lives, and it is that effort, I believe that deserves celebration.
She founded a successful dance company that brought joy to audiences over the span of years. She has choreographed musicals for middle and high school, one of which was awarded “Best Choreography” in the State award. Once, in what seem to be an arbitrary officer supply store, one of the employees sang the praises of Ms. Weiss, whom she had a teacher years prior. The impact of Anastasia Weiss can hang, be (and will be) felt far and wide.
Including her loving family. I hope my words here may convey my dream: to do justice in reflecting just how gloriously Anastasia Weiss makes the world a better place.
ms weiss is kind to everyone she meets and we are so lucky that she teaches at our school. she has taught me so much about dance and musical theatre. i don't know what we'd do without her. :D
Anastasia was not my teacher, but she and I danced together in college. I want to post a comment about her because she stood out to me as a beautiful soul who was always so welcoming and nonjudgmental. She loved and cared for everyone and she still does. She motivates me with her energy and encouragement and for anyone who crosses her path. It’s truly special and rare! SHE is rare and a gem!
Ms. Weiss is such an amazing person! My daughter took her class for dance when she was in middle school, and now my daughter has the wonderful opportunity to be her teaching assistant in her junior year. Ms. Weiss has given my daughter so much joy being in her classroom, both as a student, and an assistant. She is such a wonderful human being! She makes you feel welcome and is such a good listener when someone needs to talk. I cannot say enough good things about her. I'm am glad my oldest daughter had her as a role model and can't wait for my youngest daughter to have her next year and feel the joy in being a part of her class.
Anastasia was one of my sons first dance teachers! When he was too young to take her class he would literally sit and cry because he could not wait to learn from her! Her kindness and compassion for kids goes beyond any teacher I have ever met! She made a huge impact on my son’s life and was such a great mentor to him! Anastasia will always have a special place in our hearts!
Mrs. Weiss is a beautiful soul. I had her class for about 4 years, but she was a big role model for me all through school. She showed me the kind of person I wanted to be and what I wanted to project into the world. Even through all the attitudes I gave her she still went out of her way to check in on me and help me be the best version of myself. She will always hold a special place in my life.
Mrs. Weiss dedication to her students is truly admirable. My family will be forever grateful for all the extra time and effort she put in to helping our daughter succeed.
Miss Anastasia is one of the kindest and best teachers I have ever had! She was always there for me through ups and downs and always made me smilie!
Mrs. Weiss has inspired me to continue my passion for dancing. She brought back my love for it. The way she teaches and the way she welcomed me to her classroom is something i’ll never forget. She created our dance family and shared each dancers love for dance to our school community. She continued to support me and our class every single day and still does support me even if I am not currently her student to this day. Ms.Anastasia Weiss has changed many lives including mine. Back when she was just my middle school dance teacher she’s kept me in shape, made me explore the world through dance and overall made my life brighter and full of energy. Absolutely love Anastasia so much. She’s one of the best teachers and is so patient with everyone. She’s one of the only teachers who has a lot of investment into her students emotional wellbeing and not just their physical. Ms. Weiss has been such an amazing an inspiring person in my life. She was my dance instructor for three years and was still had a permanent place in my life and dance life for three years after. She constantly radiates love, positivity, and light no matter what is going on around her. I have known Ms Anastasia since I was 3 years old. She never fails to put a smile on my face and she brings a light and energy to dance class that is so special and rare. Anastasia has one of the biggest hearts. Her students are her children and she encouraged them and shines a light in them to show them their potential.
