Kyle Niemand was nominated by a parent of a student.

"Mr. Niemand goes above and beyond for the students at Doral Red Rock Elementary School by coaching boys' and girls' flag football, basketball, and soccer," said the nominator. "He is always positive with the students on his teams and makes it an enjoyable experience whether they win or lose. Many students who might struggle with school can find success and friendship through these teams. Mr. Niemand also directs traffic before and after school at a busy intersection, whether there's rain, wind, or heat. The school would not be the same without Mr. Niemand, and we are so glad he is the physical education teacher and coach at our school!"

Coach Niemand is amazing with the students. He is always positive and encouraging. He works diligently to make sure his students enjoy his class while receiving knowledgeable instruction. He finds ways to connect and build rapport with every child. He knows everyone by name, all 800 of them. The students love him and he so obviously cares about them. Coach Niemand coaches multiple extracurricular sports, managing so many different after-school teams. His time is never his own because he gives so much of it to back to the students to make sure they have the opportunity to play their sport on a competitive level. He makes the kids a priority in every way. He is a gift to any school and we are so lucky to have him as a part of ours.

I am so thankful that we have Mr. Neimand as an educator at our school. He first became a fixture in my boys life as their PE teacher and PE quickly became their favorite special. This year, he coached my 3rd graders on the boys flag football team and they had a season of incredible growth. He gave each kid on the team an opportunity to show strengths on the field and in times of loss he continued to encourage the team to work towards success. When working as the crossing guard, he takes extra care to make sure kids get to and from school safely. He goes the extra mile for our community and I cannot think of a more deserving LifeChanger. Thank you Mr. Neimand!

Mr. Niemand is a very caring, selfless teacher who is constantly giving to his students. He is a man of many hats, as he not only teaches physical education, he also helps with traffic every morning and every afternoon, in addition to the many sports he coaches after school and the weekend. We appreciate all he does and he truly deserves to be recognized as a teacher who puts his children first and does all he can to offer his support!

Mr. Niemand is an amazing educator. He dedicates so much time to the kiddos and the school, coaching all the sports and mentoring kids. You can always find him helping staff as well. Mr. Niemand helps me a ton with our desert tortoise. THANK YOU! He always has a smile and something nice to say about everyone and everything. His positivity shines! He deserves the nomination for The Lifechanger Award!
