Tandalin Gerber was nominated by her principal, Michael Carter.

"Tandalin is a lifelong member of the Lakeview community, and she gives her all to the school district," said Carter. "When you need something done in the district, she is the one that everyone turns to. Tandalin has headed up our District Inventory process, which has led to multiple positive changes in our district. She helps teachers with their licensure certifications and schooling. She has encouraged and mentored many classified employees to become certified teachers. She has facilitated the staff wellness days and district-wide in-service programs. She has a passion for the entire district, and she builds bridges connecting individuals to support programs to maximize the system's efficiencies."

"She has a 'Can Do' attitude and works until the job is completed. She is respected throughout the district and the community, and she makes a difference every day in the lives of so many students, staff, and community partners," said Carter. 

"Tandalin also serves as the Oregon Small Schools Association Executive Assistant, and she brings her services to the entire state. She spoke at the last state conference for small school districts and was recently invited to speak at the Oregon School Boards Association Annual Convention," said Carter.
