I have watched Nicole as a teacher and administrator over the last 17 years. In that time she has displayed an incredible love, care, affection, compassion, and empathy for her students, peers, and staff during that time. The students she has had under her care all love and appreciate her for her devotion and consistency to them. Teachers and administrators everywhere would benefit from spending time with her and learning the art of servant leadership. She has changed hundreds of lives for the better, and she is just getting started!

I have been privileged to be able to watch Nicole’s love for students and desire for academic excellence, for almost 18 years now. From being the most loved, dedicated, middle school teacher you’ve ever seen, to present day lead administrator, she has never changed. Her consistency, her smile, her faithfulness and grace, and let’s not forget…. compassion, as always been present! And this is a person that has been through so many personal challenges as well. She takes it in stride, and continues to be the person that God has made her to be. We truly and most emphatically would not be the Academy that we are today without her! She has touched so many lives!! We love you, Mrs. Anderson!!

My family went through a season were our middle school child and us needed not only guidance in some tough school dynamics but emotional changes that come with this age. Ms Anderson did not just handle the issue as an administrator of the school, she cared for us as if part of a family. Our child felt her genuine compassion and only the truth was spoke into our situation. It was a moment were the biblical lessons being taught to our child were extended to her. An example that we as teachers do not just teach it but live it. I forever will be thankful that something that could have been tragic for us was changed into a testimony our child can use in life.

She is the literal best. I’ve never known a principal who cared so deeply for her students or faculty/staff members. She is always looking for ways to encourage staff (whether it’s cookies, encouraging notes, special events, etc) and she provides an equitable, high-quality education for our students. She is full of grace towards students who are going through difficult home situations while simultaneously holding them to high standards. 100% deserves this award!
