William Harper was nominated by his spouse, Angela River-Harper.

"William has been with Queen City Career Prep High School for four years in three different roles. He has shown his compassion for the vision and mission of the school and the importance of education. William shows the students empathy, kindness, care, and love daily. The students call him the cool guy or their favorite 'Uncle' because of the love and kindness he shares daily. The students can adapt to and talk to him more than other teachers; William listens, not only with his ears but with his heart," said Angela. "William displays why he is there and why he pulls greatness out of each student he comes across. William is an amazing role model and is the prime example to the students of what continued hard work, dedication, and prayer look like."

"William received his Bachelor of Science in Business and HR Management during his tenure at QCCPHS and is currently seeking his Master's degree. William is also a small business owner and helps students understand the aspects of being a business owner. The students appreciate William for being a listening ear and counselor, and for helping them get and stay on the right track. William celebrates each student's birthday, each completion of their ten weekly goals, and employment. William helps students plan future goals once they finish school and helps them strive to be the best they can be," said Angela.
