Mr. Butler is an extraordinary individual who has left an indelible mark on the lives of countless students at our high school," said DiBenedetto.
"Despite facing personal challenges, Mr. Butler consistently radiates positivity, wearing a smile as a beacon of support for everyone around him. His unwavering commitment to helping others has created a nurturing environment where students feel respected, appreciated, and encouraged," said DiBenedetto.
"One of Mr. Butler's remarkable contributions is the establishment of a makerspace within our high school. This space has become a haven for students seeking solace, creativity, and self-expression. He has transformed this area through his vision into a place where students can decompress, unleash their creativity, and be themselves," said DiBenedetto.
"Moreover, Mr. Butler's impact extends beyond the makerspace. He played a pivotal role in the inception of over 50 clubs, fostering community and diversity within our school. His ability to connect with students personally has not gone unnoticed, and the profound respect and admiration they hold for him are evident," said DiBenedetto.
"Mr. Butler's outstanding efforts have not only resonated within our school but have garnered recognition from high-ranking officials," said DiBenedetto.
