Lisa Nino was nominated by a parent of a student, Tiffany Middlecoop.

"Lisa (Elizabeth) Nino is the first name that comes to mind when I hear the word 'LifeChanger.' We are truly blessed to have Mrs. Nino in the Little Egg Harbor School District! From housing terrapins and butterfly gardens in her kindergarten classroom to building kid-size gingerbread houses as the STEAM & Media Specialist, she never ceases to amaze me! Mrs. Nino is the number one advocate for her students and gives the strongest support I've yet to witness in a classroom," said Middlecoop.

"As the Media Specialist, Mrs. Nino recently created a winter reading wonderland for the entire school to utilize. This encouraged our students to read and allowed them to have flexible, cozy reading areas," said Middlecoop.

"Mrs. Nino also runs our school book fairs. She goes above and beyond to ensure every child feels included. Mrs. Nino is constantly coming up with ways to support our students, whether it's in her classroom or not," said Middlecoop.

"Mrs. Nino (and her husband) volunteer at every PTO event our district holds. She has done everything from building balloon arches to running BINGO table admissions. No matter what else she has going on, including furthering her own education, she never hesitates to help," said Middlecoop.

"Thank you, Nino Family, for sharing Mrs. Nino with us," said Middlecoop.

Mrs. Nino is the kind of person that every school needs. She welcomes all students equally and provides everyone with an equitable experience. She goes above and beyond every day to make all the kids feel special and loved. We are lucky to have her in our district.

Mrs Nino is the teacher we all wished we could have for our children. She is an advocate. She is a friend. She is their safe place. She goes above and beyond for her students. My Gia is not always the easiest student but Mrs Nino took her under her wing and has helped her to thrive. Even through COVID, she found a way to connect with her students and taught them in a way they could understand. She’s amazing and so appreciated.

Mrs. Nino is always eager to help with ALL students in our district, far beyond those in her classroom. She is willing to volunteer her time and creativity to turn "regular" moments into extra special memories. She is a hard worker, and does it with a smile on her face. Her caring and commitment are so appreciated. We're lucky to have her in LEH!
