Renee Wright was nominated by a colleague, Michael Broadbent.

"Passionate - There is nobody I know that pours more into her students, teachers, and staff than Mrs. Wright. She will stop at nothing to provide for a child, a struggling staff member, or a family in need," said Broadbent.

"Overcomer - Mrs. Wright is not only a leader who helps others overcome, but she has allowed no obstacle to prevent her from being the leader, educator, and colleague she is today," said Broadbent.

"Fighter - Mrs. Wright is a fighter for her school, students, staff, and community. She is a former Custer student, teacher, and now the school administrator. She knows what it means to go to bat for her students, staff, and learning community, and she continues to be the greatest advocate for Custer Elementary School today," said Broadbent.

She is so deserving of this recognition. I have never worked under anyone else as passionate and loyal as she is to everyone she loves. She loves our school, students and staff. She does what she does for all the right reasons and CES is blessed to have her as our leader.
