As our head custodian and the head coach for both the baseball and soccer teams, he exemplifies what it means to make a profound impact on our school community. As custodian, Michael goes above and beyond to ensure that our school is a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. He takes great pride in his work, often arriving early and staying late to ensure every corner of our school is well-maintained. His attention to detail and dedication to excellence creates an atmosphere where learning can thrive," said Borkowski.

"Beyond his custodial duties, Michael is a remarkable coach who fosters teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship among our student-athletes. He invests countless hours into coaching our baseball and soccer teams, developing their skills, and mentoring them to be respectful and responsible individuals. His passion for the game and genuine care for each player shine through in every practice and game," said Borkowski.

There are not enough words to describe what Mr. Williams does for the PFMS. He goes over and above every day, supporting staff and students alike with words of encouragement. His smile brightens your day. He is a LifeChanger because he impacts the lives of all who he comes in contact with.

Mr. Williams is awesome & a joy to work with. This is my first year working for CCS & he’s always made me feel welcomed! He’s a very hard worker & goes above and beyond to get his job done.

When I came to PFMS to interview, Mr. Williams was the first person I met as he unlocked the door for me to get a copy of my license and birth certificate. Since that day, he has been an intricate part of my growth here at PFMS. As many of you know, our day would not go well with out Mr. Williams and his staff. He is here when I arrive, and he is here when I leave. As a military veteran, a retired Federal law enforcement officer and now the safe school coordinator, i understand the cost he pays to make PFMS work everyday, just as you do. So Mr. Williams thank you for all the sacrifices that you make here at PFMS. You are a great credit upon yourself, Pine forest middle school, and the Cumberland county school system. Deputy Rios and I appreciate you a lot... D. Johnson safe school coordinator

Words cannot fully express the gratitude and appreciation I have for Mr. Williams. Since I became one of the assistant principals at PFMS in January 2023, he has consistently been a source of support. Even in moments when he may not have been physically or mentally up to the task, he still stepped up with a smile and a laugh. His encouragement extends to the students, teachers, and everyone who visits our campus. Changing lives isn’t always about grand gestures; sometimes, it’s the small, daily acts of kindness that make the biggest impact. Mr. Williams embodies this, and it is my sincere hope and prayer that he receives this well-deserved award.

Greetings, Mr. Williams was one of two custodians this summer. He worked a lot of overtime to get our school ready for Open House. I am the Data Manager and he was nice enough to let me stay after school to get work done and let me into the building, with the principals approval, during the weekends without complaint. He is a wonderful soul. Mr. Williams is a very hard worker and it would be wonderful if he was recognized for all of his hard work. Thank you, Debbie Wyatt

Mr. Michael Williams is the glue that holds our school together! We would not be able to function without him, and he has a smile whenever called upon for help! His positive energy brings a calming presence even on the most difficult of days at the school. I have worked alongside him in athletics and seen how much he cares about each and every one of his athletes. He respects and supports all the students and staff he interacts with daily, and he does so much behind the scenes to keep our school running -- a lot of which is beyond the scope of his required duties. He is so deserving of all the recognition he can receive! We love and appreciate him so much!!!

Yes Michael is a dedicated individual through and through. He even had to prep the school for opening this year by himself when a few others did not return at the beginning of the year. He is always offering a helping hand and willing to go the extra mile without a 2nd thought.

Michael always has a smile on his face to help brighten my day. I've seen him work at making our building look it's best even though he was short staffed many times. He has pushed through some of the toughest days. I've also witnessed his extraordinary coaching skills with students who play baseball and soccer. He is definitely a life changer!
