Ms. Swisshelm is a lead cafeteria worker at Olita Elementary School. She works tirelessly to make all students school-ready by having fresh and nutritious food daily. Ms. Swisshelm rarely misses a day. She knows the kids' names and makes them feel individually special. Ms. Swisshelm is a trainer for other cafeteria leads; she has a depth of knowledge and efficiency that makes her one of the best at her job. She is kind, direct, and a rule follower who inspires others to be the same. Kids look forward to coming to her kitchen for the food and a personal word from her.

The following story demonstrates her commitment: There was a student who had many life challenges, including fitting in at school. Ms. Swisshelm dressed up in a shirt with the student's favorite character, and she made a point to recognize him, share about the character, and give him his meal with a personal touch. He felt like a superstar and liked that he had a special friend at school. Ms. Swisshelm is dedicated, nurturing, and inspiring.
