Mr. Madrigal's commitment to others is evident as a Spanish language educator at Edmond North High School, where he opens doors of opportunity through the power of language and culture. He brings lessons on remedios caseros (home remedies) and traditional recipes like ceviche, passed down from locals and host families he interacted with in Peru.

By immersing his students in global perspectives, he offers them a mind-opening experience that connects them to the world beyond their own, guiding them in developing empathy and understanding for people from diverse backgrounds. For his students with limited access to travel or international experiences, this exposure is life-changing, broadening their knowledge of the world and preparing them to engage in multicultural environments with confidence and compassion.

In addition to his work in his classroom and community in Oklahoma, Mr. Madrigal's kindness and dedication to making a positive impact extend globally. When he's not teaching, he spends his free time volunteering with an organization called Casas por Cristo to help build homes for families in need in Mexico and Guatemala, demonstrating his deep commitment to service. Mr. Madrigal participated in these life-changing projects and took the initiative to raise funds, ensuring that families in these communities have access to safe and secure housing. His care for others and his commitment to making a meaningful difference reflect his strong character and his lasting influence on those around him.
