Music that Describes Rose


Rose Crawford was nominated by her colleague, Melissa Schmit. 

Ms. Crawford has been a rock in the lives of her students. She creates a classroom environment where students are fully engaged and love to learn. Through her enormous effort and structure, her classes run effortlessly. She provides meaningful and relevant daily lessons and opportunities for all students to thrive. Ms. Crawford promotes independence and celebrates collaboration. On Wednesdays, Ms. Crawford holds Restorative Circles, which help create acceptance and belonging for her students and build a strong sense of community. As a result, her students shine.

Ms. Crawford is a vital part of the school community. She runs the middle school PLC meetings and creates an inclusive, productive atmosphere. She and her students create a haunted house for the Fall Festival every year. She organizes the school dances and other activities. She was also instrumental in bringing "Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day" to Pueblo Gardens.

Ms. Crawford is a positive role model for the students. She gives the students hope and inspiration. She demonstrates what it means to be a good human being and a great teacher! She is the Rose of Pueblo Gardens.

As her supervising principal, I am in full support of this nomination! Rose is a fantastic educator who goes above and beyond in so many ways. She cares deeply about our students and it is evident in her daily work with them. She uses her background in exceptional education to support all students in her class and strives to get feedback about her instructional work to continually improve her craft.
