Mrs. Zeller excels in her current position as a 8th Grade Science teacher who has a background in Mathematics and English Language Arts. One of the first qualities that a person learns about Mrs. Zeller upon meeting her is her genuine heart of a quality educator. She works hard to teach the minds and hearts of her students. Mrs. Zeller lives and teaches each day with a growth mindset for herself and for her students. She is continuously reflective on her practices and on what her students need so that she can provide a wide array of differentiation. I have worked alongside Mrs. Zeller within PLCs as well as coaching cycles. I have watched Mrs. Zeller implement various research-based instructional strategies to help her students be successful in the classroom and to build skills that they will use outside of the classroom. She has successfully put strategies into place in her classroom to allow students to take ownership of their learning so that they are the ones doing the thinking and therefore the learning. Mrs. Zeller seeks out, researches, and embraces new engagement, assessment, and collaboration practices. Mrs. Zeller builds meaningful relationships with all of her students. She has a classroom culture built on respect, eagerness to learn, and active participation. She sets high expectations for her students and helps them achieve their goals. Mrs. Zeller has the same meaningful relationships with her colleagues and administration. She operates with respect at all times and holds her values close to her. Mrs. Zeller has the innate ability to make everyone around her feel seen and heard while collaborating effectively to produce what is best for all of our students.

I wholeheartedly support Mrs. Zeller's nomination for the Life Changer of the Year award. Her compassion and unwavering dedication to her students make her truly deserving of this recognition. Mrs. Zeller goes above and beyond, not only ensuring her students succeed academically but also caring deeply about their personal growth and well-being. Mrs. Zeller will follow up with students that miss class not only to help them stay caught up on their studies, but because she genuinely cares about the health and well being. Her ability to build meaningful, life-changing relationships with her students sets her apart as a truly exceptional educator. She is an inspiration to everyone around her, and her positive impact will undoubtedly be felt for years to come.

Mrs. Zeller is an amazing teacher. My Gabby had her as a Math teacher, volleyball coach and also a mentor on the yearbook staff. She has been a positive role model for Gabby. She has helped Gabby when she was a Freshman and didn't make a sports team. Coach Zeller encouraged her to try out for Golf. She always listens to Coach Zeller. Gabby has been doing amazing in Golf! Thank you Mrs. Zeller for your positive influence on Gabby! Love your enthusiasm!! Thank you!

Kat Zeller is an amazing teacher! She goes above and beyond not only for her students but her fellow teachers. She makes sure to bring that extra spice to her classroom. From bringing rats as class pets to coaching both wrestling and speech, she is amazing.
