As a health and physical education teacher and an offensive line coach, Mr. Arceneaux has demonstrated a remarkable ability to motivate and empower young people. In the classroom, Mr. Arceneaux fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to develop healthy habits and a lifelong love of physical activity. Through engaging lessons and hands-on experiences, he instills valuable life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, and discipline. As an offensive line coach, Mr. Arceneaux brings knowledge and experience to the football field. He is a skilled mentor who pushes us to reach our full potential. His dedication to the development of his athletes, both physically and mentally, has resulted in numerous successes on the field. Mr. Arceneaux's passion for education and athletics is contagious. His commitment to us extends beyond the classroom and the football field, making him a true role model and a valuable asset to the school community," said the nominator.

Tyrin is very deserving of this award. From a very young age, Tyrin has always been a person of dedication. It’s no surprise that he is committed to his students, committed to his role as teacher and coach, and committed to being a mentor for his students and players. Tyrin has a heart of gold. He is the type of person that puts his all into whatever he does and will not stop until it’s done. When I hear him speak of his students and players, it confirms what I already knew; he is meant to be exactly where he is. His passion for helping others, especially young males who remind him so much of himself, makes his position at St. Augustine not only a job, but a purpose.

Tyrin has always been a respectful young man growing up. He was hardworking, dutiful, and disciplined. I am not surprised he was nominated for such a great award. I am expecting even more recognition for the person he has become. I could think of nobody better to mentor young men.
Having been a former teammate and friend of Tyrin I truly believe there is nobody more deserving of this award. Tyrin has always demonstrated great leadership and passion for whatever he has set his mind too. In just his short time at St. Augustine High School you can see the passion he has for not just his players but his students also, the impact he has in his community and the mentorship for those within it will stick with those kids for life.
Since we were kids, Tyrin was always a very hard working and dedicated guy. He always chooses to do the right thing no matter what. I’ve watched him grow into the guy he is today who gives his all to his athletes, students, and community.
