"I have had the privilege of working with Ms. MacBlane for the past eight years. She has worked alongside me as the ESE Inclusion teacher for about three years now. Ms. MacBlane bring a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to the students she teaches. She has a passion that is rare to find in our profession. Working closely with Ms. MacBlane, I have witnessed the progression of students from struggling at the bottom percentile to being on grade level with their peers. She has an innate ability to serve students with ESE services. I have observed firsthand the relationships that she builds with every one of her students. These positive relationships were effortlessly formed and have given the students the confidence to excel, sometimes beyond their own beliefs. Ms. MacBlane is an asset, not only to Socrum Elementary, but to the teaching profession," said Dawson.
