I've worked with Ms. Peralta for 3 years, and I can confidently say that at the school, she is regarded as a valuable individual who brings positive energy into the room, as well as being the glue that helps keep the school together. In my years of Law Enforcement and working for the School District as the Tradewinds Police Officer I can honestly say that she is an exemplary administrator on how she engages with students, parents, vendors, and staff. I have never seen Ms. Peralta not smile even on the tough days. Not sure how she does it but it is truly a gift. I have witnessed individuals with attitudes and upset and through it all she keeps smiling and being very helpful. Ms. Peralta is a genuine human being and I am thankful to work with her as I have learned that even on your worst days it is important to smile and be kind!

As Estefania’s mother, my heart is full of pride and emotion seeing her recognized for all that she does. I have watched her grow into a woman who gives so much of herself — not just to her work, but to the people around her.
