Denise Campbell was nominated by her friend, Dominic Serio.
"Denise is my very good friend's mother. She has been like a second Mom to me since I became friends with her son when I was about 10 years old. Denise has been a Baltimore County Public School teacher/counselor for 40 years," said Serio. "She began her career in Baltimore County as a teacher. She spent 20 wonderful years in the classroom teaching and enjoying students in grades 2-5."
In 2006, she became a school counselor. "I am so very grateful for the opportunity to service children and support their emotional and developmental needs," said Campbell.
