Ms. Potter believes in giving students a place to belong, building relationships with them, and establishing rules and boundaries in the classroom that make everyone feel safe and ready to learn. As the librarian at her middle school, she works with all 350 students. She always tries to meet the needs of staff members who seek her help, whether it's materials, physical assistance, or professional advice.

Ms. Potter has served as the middle school cross country coach since 2022. She also served as track coach from 2022 to 2024. Finally, she won the Red Cape Staff Award in 2024 and 2025.

Ms. Potter works so hard to make everyone feel safe and included. Her drive and dedication makes me proud to know her. The world needs more teachers like her!
