As the private pilot teacher, he already plays a vital role in shaping future aviators, but when a need arose in the math department, he stepped up to teach geometry simply because it benefited the students, even though it meant extra work outside his aviation specialty. He saw it as an opportunity to help students stay on track academically. That kind of selfless dedication is rare and deeply impactful.
