Music that Describes Callie
Callie Moore was nominated by her principal, Elizabeth Tyler.
"I want to nominate Callie Moore for the LifeChanger of the Year Award. Callie has made an exceptional and lasting impact on the school community, felt deeply by students, staff, and families alike. Through her tireless dedication, compassionate support, and unyielding commitment to the well-being of all, she has become an indispensable part of the school's community and a role model for others," said Tyler.
Mrs. Moore's contributions are not limited to simply performing the duties of her position. She actively seeks out ways to go above and beyond, consistently exceeding expectations. Mrs. Moore has taught 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades at her school. She provides unwavering support to students, helping them feel seen, heard, and valued. You can find her tutoring before or after school, providing emotional encouragement or academic support. Her ability to connect with students from all walks of life has made her an essential part of their educational journey, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and empowered to succeed.
One of the most powerful aspects of her impact is her ability to foster a sense of belonging and kindness. She creates a nurturing environment where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity. Her understanding of the challenges that students and staff face has allowed her to offer personalized support that makes a real difference. It's clear that she sees the potential in every person she interacts with, and she takes the time to uplift them, encouraging personal growth and emotional resilience.
Beyond her direct work with students, Mrs. Moore plays a key role in fostering a positive, unified school culture. She co-chairs one of the school's main events, Supper with Santa. This event requires her to collaborate with staff, parents, and the community.
Mrs. Moore attended the Florida Literacy Conference this past summer. She came back with ideas and suggestions that the whole school is implementing to improve reading. She is actively working to build unity among colleagues, ensuring that everyone feels supported and empowered to contribute their best to implement these new strategies.
"Her impact will be felt for years to come, as the positive relationships she has built and the values she has instilled continue to resonate with those she has mentored and supported. She may not seek recognition, but her legacy is unmistakable. Through her service, she has changed lives, strengthened the community, and set an extraordinary standard for what it means to be a supportive and dedicated team member," said Tyler.
