George Hill was nominated by a family member, Idris Vance.

For the past 20 years, Mr. Hill has been touching the lives of children from Maryland to Michigan. Matriculating to head principal last year, he stepped up to the challenging role and improved his school's performances. Mr. Hill is a consummate professional, creating a comfortable environment for learning and filling his school with hard work and tenacity.  Dickinson East Elementary is very diverse, and Mr. Hill has an inviting mindset. Through effective communication, he delegates his staff with inclusive undertones.
