Nichelle Payne was nominated by her secondary director, Toyua Watson.
"In my opinion, Ms. Payne is truly a great nominee for such an award," said Watson. "Ms. Payne works daily to give students what they need to be successful. For example, she organizes our yearly dress drive for girls who do not have prom dresses, as well as our yearly coat drive for kids who need a jacket. She picks up children and assists them with their daily responsibilities such as washing their clothes, washing their hair and preparing them to feel good about coming to school."
