We are proud grandparents of Jesse. He is an enthusiastic young teacher dedicated to his students. We are not surprised by this nomination by a student as he puts his heart and soul into his classroom. He works hard to make sure every student knows they matter and feel they belong. His stepped in to take over a ninth grade English class as substitute teacher right after finishing student teaching, the district recognized that he was good and hired him as a permanent teacher. Jesse is especially concerned about preventing teen suicides.
