We are so proud of Amy and happy for her to be recognized with this nomination. We knew she would be a "life changer" when she chose to go into teaching. Each and every one of her students, past and present, are so important to her. She is creative and works hard to encourage her students to work hard for themselves, in school and in life.
Amy is an absolutely joy to work with and the classroom/school culture she creates is contagious. Her spirit for teaching and supporting students emanates from her character and actions. From taking on sports to coach because others were not available to mentoring brand new teachers; her days and evening are full.
