April Noto was nominated by a colleague who wishes to remain anonymous.

Mrs. Noto works hard every day to ensure that her students make as much progress as they can each school year. She goes out of her way to teach beyond the basics of reading and math. She offers field trips for her students to go shopping and banking to help them learn life lessons and become prepared for the real world. Mrs. Noto often gives up her lunch periods to tutor students or help those who don't qualify for special education services. Throughout it all, she also finds time to handle her own children's chronic health issues.

"April works diligently, contributes beyond the regular school day, and demonstrates the true care that students need!" her nominator said.

Mrs. Noto has went above and beyond to not only help my son but MANY other children. Our school is truly blessed to have a teacher like her.
