LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Charity Schupp was nominated by an anonymous colleague.

Mrs. Schupp works with a large portion of the OGHS student body daily. She instills a love for vocal music and creates a forum to build and showcase students' individual and group talents. Over time, she has proven her ability to make a difference in students' lives through vocal music expression.  Numerous alumni rave about her direct, intentional musical instruction and her personal approach to each individual choir member.  Mrs. Schupp has served in several leadership roles in the West Central District Music Educators Association and has also contributed at the state level.  She constantly produces a loving, supportive atmosphere in which students break out of their shells, achieve both group and individual milestones, and have a new outlook on different musical genres.
