Ms. Winslow, I cannot hear your name without feeling overwhelmed with gratitude - for your kind and loving presence in Troy Public Schools, and for your positive, inspiring influence on my daughter. You are an amazing human being, and a gifted educator with the rare ability to connect deeply with each and every student you encounter. Your love of learning is infectious, and your belief in the possibility that resides in each and every one... calls forth the best in every person you encounter. Thank you for all you do with and for kids in our community!

I have blessed to have worked with Anita throughout the many school years. When I transfered from the high school to the elementary school she was my mentor and quickly became a great friend. She is a wonderful example of what a teacher should be. I am blessed to work with her and call her my friend.

I had the privilege to have Mrs. Winslow as my classroom teacher during my student teaching experience. I learned more from her in 1 semester than I did in 4 years of college. She set an amazing example of what a great teacher looked like every day. I can’t express enough how much of an impact she had on my teaching career. She is by far the best teacher I have ever been around! Thank you for making me a better teacher!
