Krissy Surma was nominated by an anonymous student.

Mrs. Surma is a great teacher who is always happy and kind to her students. She prepares her students for lifelong success.

"Even though she was my kindergarten teacher, she is still an influence in my life," said her nominator. "She encouraged me and my brothers to join 4H. She is a leader in the 4H community and encourages kids to get involved and do more then sit at home on their phones. Mrs. Surma volunteers her time and gladly helps anyone who is interested in getting involved. Without her, I would have never joined 4H and gotten all my animals. I have learned many life skills such as organization, responsibility, giving to my community, public speaking, leadership, and so much more. I have also made many lifelong friends because of my involvement with 4H.  Mrs. Surma is a great teacher, and I am so glad she was my kindergarten teacher!
