Niecy Miller was nominated by her colleagues, Dawn Hildreth, Rachel Temple, and Connie Nash.
Mrs. Miller, also known as "Mrs. Niecy," is a prime example of a team player. Although she's assigned to the first floor for her duties, you will find her all over the school helping out her fellow custodians, her co-workers, and the students wherever and whenever needed. She is in a class by herself when it comes to keeping the kindergarten, first grade, and EC classrooms sparkling clean and smelling fresh. Teachers will often comment "I know Mrs. Niecy is here because of that clean smell."
Mrs. Niecy not only keeps her school clean, but she shows a genuine compassion for her students (or babies, as she calls them). She's there to make sure they have whatever they need, whether it is a hug, a kind word, money to pay for a snow cone they can't afford, or a toboggan to keep them warm .
Mrs. Niecy's also there for her coworkers. She goes out of her way to help them out in work or personal matters. She always has a listening ear and helping hands. Mrs. Miller has had some health problems in recent months, but she has not let this keep her from fulfilling all her duties.
"Mrs. Miller is a great asset to Central School," said Hildreth, Temple and Nash.
