Lisa Fives was nominated by her former student and colleague, Shafiq Alvarado.
Ms. Fives is a passionate, dedicated professional who is one of the heads in charge of the science department at Wallenpaupack Area School District. She teaches the Advanced Placement Biology classes, anatomy and physiology, academic biology, and other classes. Additionally, she finds the time to lead the district tennis programs and is even a state grader for the AP Biology State exam which is used for college credit.
"I wholeheartedly believe she is a LifeChanger in our community," said Alvarado.
