Julienne Fallen was nominated by her colleague, Susan Brooks.
Ms. Fallen has continued to have a positive impact on student learning during her career as a teacher, assistant principal, and now as a principal. She is willing to take risks as needed to ensure students have the best possible education experience. She respects staff and takes pride in the work they do each day.
During the COVID-19 school closure, she continued to have high expectations for the students and teachers. She encouraged teachers to create resources, lead online instruction, and create videos to help students continue to grow and learn during this time. Her focus is always on supporting students and staff. She sends personal cards to each staff member and has continued to meet virtually every week with the staff. During teacher appreciation week, she visited each staff member's home to deliver a gift bag and let them know they were an important part of the school. Ms. Fallen always goes the extra mile to support students and staff while maintaining high standards/expectations!
