Tami Neill was nominated by Jeannie Reay, the parent of a student.

"Mrs. Neill is loved by all of her colleagues, students, and parents for her bubbly personality and eagerness to help all of her students shine bright," said Reay. "My daughter started kindergarten last year, and having not gone to any school before that, she was nervous. I was also nervous because she had been with me every day up until that point, and I was concerned that her tendency to not want to learn at home would follow her to school.  I cannot tell you how lucky we were when our daughter, Laurel, ended up with Tami Neill. Laurel became more confident in her abilities. She came home from school every day eager to share what she had learned, which was so very much in very little time."

"Mrs. Neill made it a point to get ahold of each parent and talk to them about what the kids were doing," said Reay. "She gave us daily updates on ClassDojo so we were always in the loop. Her love for both teaching and her students makes her a pillar in the Chariho community. I will always cherish how she made my daughter's first year of school a unforgettable experience (in the best way)."
