Jennifer Donnell was nominated by her eLearning principal, Gigi Whalen.

"Jennifer is an outstanding educator.  After working with her at Coyote Creek Elementary for the past three years, we both transitioned to eLearning this year," said Whalen. "Jennifer builds wonderful relationships with her students and families, both in school and while teaching remotely. Recently, we sent out a parent survey, and Jennifer had many parents compliment her on how well things have gone this school year. Many of them want her to remain their child's teacher, remotely, for the winter semester, as well. These are families who had no connection to her previously, but see how she cares for and works with her students. She helps them grow, learn, make connections with peers, and succeed academically."

"Jennifer is also willing to share with her colleagues and support them," said Whalen. "I have asked her to mentor a few people this year with eLearning, and she always is willing to give her time, expertise, and support to others.  She's a leader who is willing to share and collaborate."

Ms. Donnell loves her students and builds strong relationships with them. Students experience a safe learning environment, and they regularly attend her classes because they are purposeful and engaging.

Ms. Donnell is a moral, ethical teacher. She wants to follow the set procedures while making adjustments for her students' learning needs.  She is a wonderful person to work with and learn from.  Ms. Donnell is also a lifelong learner who is always taking classes to enhance her expertise and stay up to date on best practices. She utilizes this knowledge to enhance the learning of her students.
