Ms. Nitoski models lifelong learning, actively seeks professional development opportunities to hone her craft, and is always employing new strategies in the classroom to maximize student engagement. She has traveled throughout Europe studying the history and cultures she teaches, and she brings that knowledge back into the classroom through photographs and lessons to share with students. The lessons she teaches not only encompass her content area, but also include important life lessons about respect, responsibility, and the importance of citizenship. She has created a student-centered classroom environment that promotes inquiry, risk-taking, and individual success for all students. Students and staff are continually grateful for Ms. Nitoski's award-worthy instruction that inspires and motivates all who have the privilege of stepping into her classroom.
