John Thompson was nominated by an anonymous student.

"In seventh grade, I struggled a lot with understanding math and was scared to move up to the next level," said the student. "Mr. Thompson has taught our class really well, even through virtual learning. He is very helpful, offers help sessions, and always makes sure we know he's open if we need help with any of our work or with anything else. He spends a lot of time going over the material to make sure that everyone knows what to do, and he's patient when we have a lot of questions. Mr. Thompson stands out to me because of how well he understands and teaches the material."
