LifeChanger of the Year Nominee Profile

Julie Grisar was nominated by her colleague, Kelly Matthias.

Ms. Grisar is an outstanding member of the teaching staff at Cedarburg High School.  She's not only a dedicated art teacher, but a talented artist, advocate for students, mentor to new teachers, and a member of the school beautification team. She also serves on the Building Leadership team, collaborates with the counseling department, and is the advisor for the GSA. Most importantly, she's someone who staff proudly call a friend.

She comes to work every day with a desire to help others, and she smiles through the challenging times.  Her background in art therapy is a tremendous resource for students and families. Students see her as a safe, supportive adult in the building.

"We cannot thank her enough for all that she brings day in and day out," said Matthias.
